HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Members of a 60-year-old Hattiesburg landmark house of worship are cleaning up and salvaging what they can after Sunday's tornado damaged their main church building and several other structures.
Members of Westminster Presbyterian Church Monday were assessing roof damage to the sanctuary and three other buildings hit by the storm.
Church pastor Steven Ramp says they need dumpsters and pods to help clean-up and preserve items from inside the church that could be damaged by steady rainfall.
The church was built in 1954.
The sanctuary was added nine years later.
