Hattiesburg sorority goes to Lumberton and educates men on their health

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

The Zeta Phi Beta Inc., Lambda Kappa Zeta graduate chapter hosted a men's seminar on Saturday at the Lumberton Family Health Center.

Many residents attended the health seminar and learned more about prostate cancer, STD's and sexual disorders.

"I wanted the men in the community to know that there is help out there," said Zeta Phi Beta, Lambda Kappa Zeta Vice President, Patricia Thompson. "If you come we can answer any questions that you may have."

The seminar included motivational speaker, assistant to Hattiesburg mayor, John Brown, and Urologist at Hattiesburg's Southern Surgery and Urology, Debbie Azar.

"Educated patients, they make the best decision makers," said Azar.

Z-hope, Zetas Helping Other People Excel, focus on helping youth, women, and men in the community.
