CPSC issues recall of World Imports bunk beds

The Consumer Products Safety Commission issues a recall of thousands of beds.

World Imports bunk beds are being recalled because the openings between the metal rails at the ends are too wide.   Authorities say a child could become trapped or strangled.

The beds came in two models: twin over twin and twin over futon.   They were sold in furniture stores between August 2009 and February 2012 for as much as $300 each.
