    Hattiesburg announced its Tree Lighting Ceremony performers and activities Wednesday.  The city will kick off its Christmas season with the lighting ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 20 at Town Square Park and festivities beginning at 6 p.m., according to a press release from the City of Hattiesburg.     The Mississippi Court of Appeals affirmed the dismissal of a Forrest County man's second postconviction-relief motion on Tuesday Domiano Ratcliff pleaded guilty to two counts of armed robbery and one count of aggravated assault after a robbery led to the shooting of a Forrest County man in 2004.
