School delays due to potential inclement weather

All info is for Wednesday morning, January 30, 2013.

The following schools will delay the start of school by one hour...

  • Laurel School District
  • Jones County School District
  • Laurel Christian School
  • St. John's Day School
  • Salem Christian School
  • Wayne County School District
  • Covington County School District
  • Wayne Academy
  • Jefferson Davis County

The following schools will delay the start of school by two hours...

  • Lamar County School District
  • Lamar Christian School
  • Greene County School District
  • Lumberton School District

The Smith County School District will start school at 9 a.m.

Word of Faith Christian Academy will start school at 10 a.m.

Sacred Heart Elementary & High School will start school at 9 a.m. Teachers report to school at 8:30 a.m.

East Jasper Consolidated School District will start school at 9 a.m.

Jones County Junior College will start school at 9 a.m.

    There's a new Miss Hospitality in Mississippi. Emma Grace McGrew, of Booneville, was crowned Miss Hospitality 2017 at the Saenger Theater in Hattiesburg.  WDAM 7 caught up with the 18-year-old after the ceremony Saturday night.
