ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Albany's four schools are ready for another quadruple header at Darton College on Friday.
The big game on the schedule is the girls battle between Dougherty and Monroe.
Lady Tornados are sitting in first place in the region with Dougherty just a game back.
The Lady Trojans have won six straight games and want to keep the momentum going.
They also want to show Monroe how much they have improved since the losing to the Lady Tornadoes in the first game of the season in November.
"At this point of the year you always want to make sure you have improved definitely from that first game. I am very pleased with a lot of things the players are doing right now as a team," said Dougherty head coach Charlene Jackson.
"They come every game and play hard. I am hoping we will do the same thing. We will have corrected some of the mistakes we have made early on in the year. Hopefully, we can come in and finish the game tonight," said Monroe girls coach Cheryl Cheeks.
Here is Friday's schedule at Darton:
4:00 Albany vs Westover (girls) 5:30 Monroe vs Dougherty (girls) 7:00 Albany vs Westover (boys) 8:30 Monroe vs Dougherty (boys)
