Tift County is ranked number one in the state's biggest classification.
The Blue Devils want a program that is considered also be among the best in the nation.
The number one ranked Blue Devils have region games this weekend at Colquitt County and at home against Coffee on Sunday.
After that, the Tift County team heads to Springfield, Massachusetts where they will play St. Anthony's High on Monday in the Basketball Hall of Fame MLK holiday tournament.
St. Anthony's is ranked 5th in the nation..
St. Anthony's is the third top ten nationally ranked team the Blue Devils have played this season.
Tift County's only losses this season have been to teams ranked in the top ten in the nation.
"We think we are a top 10 program in the country. We get excited. I think it will make our program better. I think it will make our kids better. I think it will make me a better coach. We just get excited and we welcome the challenge," said Dr. Eric Holland.
Tift County basketball team will also visit the Basketball Hall of Fame during their visit to Springfield, Ma. this weekend.
