PETAL, MS (WDAM) -

Petal Police arrested two vacuum cleaner salesmen on Tuesday for failing to get a transient vendor permit following dozens of complaints to law enforcement about high-pressure sales people.

Shane Michael Johnson and Joshua Tibler of Biloxi were arrested at Robinson Street and Williamsburg Drive after a resident complained.

Police said the pair had been warned two days earlier to get a vendor permit. The two men work for a vacuum cleaner company on the Gulf Coast.
