Jefferson County Sheriff Peter Walker has identified the woman found dead in the cemetery of East Mount Olive Baptist Church Wednesday night.
Three people were arrested Saturday afternoon, after a large amount of narcotics was discovered.
Lumberton Police Officers were on a routine patrol near the intersection of Piatonia and King around 2:25 PM Saturday afternoon. The officers noticed a black car attempting to leave a wooded area. As the officers approached, the car started back into the woods.
The officers followed the car into the woods, where they found two females and one male inside the vehicle. When officers questioned the male subject, he became combative and was restrained.
During a search of the area, a large amount of narcotics, paraphernalia, and a firearm were found on the scene.
All three subjects were charged with Possession of a Controlled substance with an enhancement for the firearm and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Those arrested were Rebecca Churchill, 29, Kimberly Johnson Slade, 33, and another male subject. They were transported to the Lamar County Jail.
