Gun sales are up in the Pine Belt in wake of CT shooting

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Since the deadly shooting in Connecticut many people have been wondering if congress will try to change gun laws and will prices soon increase.

Some Mississippians aren't waiting around to see.

According pawn shop owners and sporting goods store managers they have seen a spike in sales since the weekend.

They said people have been buying rifles and semi-automatics all week long.
