Mississippi loses to Alabama 21-16 in All-Star Game

MONTGOMERY, AL (WDAM) - With 1:50 left in regulation, Alabama batted down a pass on fourth-and-15, and ended any chance of  Mississippi comeback. The Alabama squad defeated the Mississippi squad 21-16 in the 26th annual Mississippi-Alabama All-Star game, making it the fifth consecutive loss for the Magnolia State.

Alabama seemed to have the game well in-hand after taking a 21-0 lead, but Mississippi cut the margin to 21-16, and forced an Alabama punt with 2:39 left in the fourth quarter. The final drive consisted of a loss of yards, two penalties, and two incomplete passes.
