VAN ZANDT COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

The Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office has arrested five men suspected of committing several burglaries in the Van Zandt County area.

Jonathan Christopher Adams, Earl Wayne Few, Jr., Marque Kaleb Hart, Labradford Lamont Hunter, and James Miller were arrested following a manhunt early Wednesday morning.

At around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, a Van Zandt sheriff's deputy witnessed two vehicles driving slowly on the I-20 service road between Highway 17 and Highway 1255. The deputy followed the vehicles to a mini-warehouse complex. When he attempted to question the suspects, they fled on foot, at which time the deputy called for assistance.

With help from the Canton Police Department, Grand Saline Police Department, Van Police Department and a DPS helicopter, five suspects were apprehended.

Further investigation revealed that the office of the warehouse complex had been burglarized. After searching the suspects' vehicles, officials believe they have committed several other robberies in the area.

The suspects are from Terrell, Dallas and Mesquite.
