VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -
The Valdosta State offensive line is a big reason the Blazers will play for the Division II national championship.
One of the those Blazers offensive lineman has been named an All-American for a second straight season.
Valdosta State senior offensive tackle Ryan Schraeder is a first team selection for the American Football Coaches Association Division II All-American team.
It is the second straight year the 6'7", 300 pound Schrader has made the AFCA All-American team.
Schraeder is one of four VSU offensive linemen who were named first team All-Conference in the Gulf South.
Valdosta State will play Winston-Salem State for the Division II national championship Saturday in Florence, Alabama.
The Blazers are trying to win a third national title in the last eight years.
