Several 911 calls in Jones County did not go through on Monday.
Emergency Management officials said they received reports from residents who said they couldn't get through to dispatch when they called using 911 early Monday morning.
Emergency Management Director Marta Tullos said a local technician checked all the lines and they appeared to be find.
The 911 system was installed in March.
Tullos said they have contacted AT&T technicians as well to come check the system. For now, callers may or may not make it through if they call 911.
Until the system comes online, officials say non-emergency calls can go to 601-425-0270 or 601-425-0223.
