Truck driver killed in early morning accident near McLain

PERRY COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

A wreck in the McLain community claimed a life of a truck driver at around 3:50 a.m. Monday.

Anthony Cameron, 50, of Hattiesburg was killed in the accident.

Corporal Todd Miller with the Mississippi Highway Patrol said when an 18-wheeler pulled out of the Kangaroo BP on Highway 98 he didn't see another truck coming due to fog. When the truck pulled out, a truck traveling eastbound smashed into the trailer.
