Banish sore throats, colds and flu

(or at least make it harder for them to take root) by replacing your toothbrush on the first day of each month. Toothbrushes are a breeding ground for germs! Pick up a supply at the dollar store so you always have them on hand, and be sure to let the toothbrush dry thoroughly between uses.

Never keep it submerged in a cup of water -- that just increases bacterial growth. Yuck!
