Constance Quinn has certainly made her mark wearing black and gold. Now she wants to make it wearing purple and gold in Baton Rouge. Surrounded by family, friends and teammates, the warriors shortstop formally signed her commitment to play softball for Louisiana State University.
"It felt great to sign those papers, finally," said the Oak Grove High School junior. Last year, Quinn connected on 40 of 89 at-bats for a .449 average. She brought in 35 runners, scored 44 times, and blasted four home runs, eight triples and five doubles.
On the base path, she attempted 26 steals, and stole 21.
"Hopefully, the coach looks at me to bring something to the table, to the team, to where I can...bring that team to the college world series once again," Quinn said.
