Hattiesburg sets 30th Annual Veterans Day events

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Presenting a three-tier program, the 30th Anniversary begins Saturday night with a dance honoring Vietnam era veterans.

 

The annual event will continue with a 24-hour vigil at Veterans Memorial Park beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday until 10 a.m. Monday.

 

The public is invited to attend a ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park Sunday at 7 p.m., in which names of 173 veterans will be read.

 

The three day program will conclude with a finale of the gigantic Veterans Day Parade and Program Monday starting at 9 a.m. on Hardy Street.
