HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A ribbon cutting was held Thursday for Forrest General's new Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation location.

In order to meet the needs of children who have disabilities, Forrest General Hospital partnered up with the Hattiesburg YMCA and used space available to provide Outpatient Pediatric Rehab services.

Located in the Center for Healthy Living, the newly renovated space offers physical and occupational therapy and speech pathology services to children with needs such as developmental delays, autism, and orthopedic injuries.

The Outpatient Pediatric Rehab services have been provided for the past three months and are being offered three days a week.
