LAUREL, MS (WDAM) -

Tate Reeves, the state's number two leader said Mississippi officials will have to deal with Obamacare whether they like it or not.

His comments came Wednesday less then 24-hours after President Obama was re-elected. Speaking at the Laurel Kiwanis Club, Reeves said with Obama getting four more years there is no chance that Obama's healthcare plan will be repealed while Obama's in office.

Reeves said Tuesday night's Democratic success was an upset for Republicans, not only in this state but in much of the country.

He said Obama is expected to try to raise taxes on the wealthy, something republicans have opposed.

Reeves believes no one really knows how the healthcare plan will affect the state.
