Authorities: Clara School fire case now an arson investigation

Authorities say the recent fire at Clara School was the work of at least one arsonist.

Authorities say in the early morning hours of October 28th, the school was engulfed in flames.  Authorities say the auditorium and the first through fourth grade building were damaged. Minor damages were reported in the fifth through eighth grade area.  Federal, state and local authorities are investigating the arson.

Wayne County Crime Stoppers and the school district are offering a total of $7500 in rewards for tips leading to an arrest and indictment of anyone responsible for the fire.  If you have any information that can help authorities, please call 601-735-LEAD (5323).
