Laurel High School students pay it forward

LAUREL, MS (WDAM) -

Several hundred students at Laurel High School are preparing to show an act of kindness through a national pay it forward program.

Thursday, businessman, Jim Rasberry presented juniors and seniors a challenge created by Aviva U.S.A Insurance Company called Youmanity.

It's a token program that believes that one person can make a difference by showing an act of kindness no matter how big or small.

The students were given a token with a number on it, once they show an act of kindness to someone, they will pass the token on to that person and the act of kindness gestures will continue to be passed around.
