Every year
during October, the Hattiesburg Zoo brings safe, family-friendly
trick-or-treating to the Pine Belt.
As a Halloween
tradition, the Hattiesburg Zoological Society in partnership with The
Hattiesburg Convention and Tourism Commission feature seven nights of Zoo Boo.
Providing
frighteningly fun adventures, the Zoo encourages children to wear their
Halloween costumes and explore the Zoo Boo game stations.
"We have a
series of games for the kids to play and cards for them to work through, and at
the end they get a prize," said Anita Wright of The Hattiesburg Convention
Commission. "It's just a different option and a different way to celebrate
Halloween all in one place and most importantly it's safe."
Zoo Boo will
be going on every day until Halloween day from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The kids play
all the games for only $5.
