FORREST COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident near Camp Shelby Saturday night.

Details are incomplete, but the Mississippi Highway Patrol says a passenger in one vehicle died in the wreck, which happened around 6:30 p.m., four miles south of the South Gate entrance to Camp Shelby.

Officers say the victim was from Louisiana, but aren't releasing any further information until relatives are notified.
