Hattiesburg teen charged with stealing guns from FBI indicted on new charges

A Hattiesburg teen who pleaded guilty to stealing firearms and ammunition from the FBI is now indicted on a host of other charges.

Lamar County District Attorney Hal Kittrell says the grand jury indicted Cameron Eaton. 19, on charges of armed carjacking, kidnapping, aggravated assault and rape.

The charges stem from a July 20 abduction of a 21-year-old female on Oak Grove Road. He allegedly kidnapped the woman, raped her then dumped her out on West Fourth Street and shot her.

She survived and identified Eaton as her attacker.

Eaton is scheduled to be in court on November 5.
