Your Week in Viral Videos: The crazy and creepy all mixed together

Posted: Updated:

(RNN) – What do Honey Boo Boo, Christopher Walken and a recovering drug addict have in common?

In hindsight, it was probably a very bad idea to ask that question, but we'll press forward.

This week's mashup of viral videos is truly, shall we say, eccentric.

But don't be fooled. There is a method to this madness.

CHRISTOPHER WALKEN AUDITIONS FOR 'HONEY BOO BOO'

If you're interested in what happens when opposite ends of the gene pool collide like particles in an atom smasher, this is a pretty good indication.

It's hard to know what is more surprising – that Walken would take a break from his respectable life and lower himself to this level, or that he is actually very funny.

Oh, and did we mention Colin Ferrell reads for the part of the sister of a backwoods beauty queen? Instant classic.

Mr. Walken, don't quit your day job as the token creepy guy in 98 percent of all movies. And hopefully, Honey Boo Boo's family won't quit their day jobs – of masking the deficiencies of society inside comedy and rural beauty pageants.

SOBER FOR EXACTLY … 5 MINUTES

Since we hate to disrupt the theme, this is probably the type of guy Honey Boo Boo will end up marrying. Or it might be this exact guy. Think about that for a minute.

Now that you're fully disturbed, you can focus on how abysmally pitiful this next video is. It's not that we're making fun of addiction. We're just making fun of this nimrod. Maybe his friend can set him on the straight and narrow.

Wow, someone please do something redeeming so that we don't lose all hope in humanity.

YOU'RE 2, IT'S TIME TO GROW UP

Everyone needs a little sibling advice once in a while.

No one is going to shoot straighter than a big sister. This pep talk ranks right up there with the Tim Tebow promise speech.

Mark it down, this little tyke is the future prime minister of England, and he will trace all his success back to this moment.

MARCHING BAND VIDEO GAME

Meanwhile, in a world far, far away where the word "tune your instrument" is actually an introduction to intimacy …

Few marching bands take themselves more seriously than Ohio State's, and it has an expletive in its nickname to prove it.

Even people who prefer to use the bathroom or go to the concession stands during halftime can't help but enjoy this.

FAMILY REUNION

Now this is more like it. South Carolina fans gout a double dose of good feeling last weekend – a family reunited at halftime and a blowout win against one of the best teams in the country.
