Hattiesburg woman wins $20,000 golf ball drop

More than 800 golf balls were dropped onto the Canebrake golf course Monday and one lucky lady won $20,000 after buying a $100 golf ball.

Hattiesburg resident Laura Klinedinst was the winner of the eighth annual golf ball drop. A fundraiser hosted by the Hattiesburg A.R.C., which helps children and adults with developmental disabilities. About sixty people came out the drop, not only to show support for the organization, but naturally, hoping to hear their name.
