Jones County Supervisors decide not to appeal court ruling

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

Jones County Supervisors finally approved the upcoming budget and the school district's bond debt payment is included.

Board President Andy Dial said, the only reason the board isn't appealing the decision is because it could cost taxpayers even more money in the end.

Dial said property owners can expect their mileage rates to increase by 10.3 mills.
