Your Week in Viral Videos: Dance like you're a child of the '80s

(RNN) – The next time you pass police officers on the highway and roll your eyes in utter disdain, remember that behind the badge they're people, too.

And also remember some of them can dance circles around you. If you don't like the sight of a deputy doing an Elvis impersonation in a full duty belt, then apparently you've done some time.

Not discriminating, we're just saying.

However, for those of us who have never had a department of corrections number assigned to us, this is one of the funniest clips to come around in a long time.

Don't you just love it when people humanize an otherwise underappreciated and misunderstood job?

MAD MEN RICKROLL THE INTERNET

It's the perfect combination – one of the biggest hits of the last five years in union with one of the biggest hits of the 1980s.

Just in case you don't play the uber-famous hit Never Gonna Give You Up at least once a week (and seriously, why wouldn't you?) the cast of Mad Men will give you all the more reason to start.

This mashup is so perfectly conceived it almost makes you ignore the fact that the people who actually have time to create these cute little ditties have more intimate relationships with their computers than they do with real people.

No seriously, how in the world do folks find time for stuff like this?

COUNTING TO 100 – DUTCH STYLE

How would you describe this video? A-W-E-S-O-M-E.

This is one of those projects that may start on a whim – or on an all-night drinking binge, whatever – but ends up as a beautiful look at humanity.

Watching years pass by on the screen, you can't help but think about your own life and what both it and your face will look like several years from now.

And for those of us who might be a little bit older, this is a great way to jog loose some good memories you had buried in the back of your mind for several years.

LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH AND ANNOYING

An elevator that turns your living room into a two-car garage could definitely qualify as one of the worst well-intentioned ideas in history.

We all know parking in big cities is a major problem, but seriously? Millionaires have enough things to wave around in our face, but if this idea starts catching on then it's probably going to plant seeds of rebellion from lower economy classes.

Thankfully, this unique apartment building is unique to Singapore, but if Donald Trump ever watches this video, it's over.

GANGNAM STYLE MASHUP

What do you get when you mix techno music, goofy lyrics and bad personal hygiene?

You get one of the most random and entertaining videos you could possibly lay eyes on – that is if you don't count Sinead O'Connor singing a ballad to everyone in the world.

And right on cue, the young folks go, "Who?"
