Not all obese people are at an increased risk of developing chronic disease like diabetes, cancer and heart disease.
Researchers say they've discovered a sub-set of obese people who are metabolically healthy and have a higher level of fitness than most obese people.
This group was found to have a 38 percent lower risk of death from any cause than their obese peers similar to that of healthy people with a normal weight.
Study led by researchers at the University of South Carolina and published in 'European Heart Journal'
