Marion County endures Isaac aftermath

What Isaac lacked in wind and power it made up for with relentless rain.

Proof of that is all over the Pine Belt, including Marion County. As soon as you drive into the county you can see high water levels. Crews were hard at work trying to restore power to residents.

Woodlawn Church in Columbia is serving as a shelter for those who escaped flooding at their homes. According to the American Red Cross at least 50 people are still at the shelter. Columbia resident, Selina Crawford is one them.

"To be honest I'm not from here, this area. So, most of the people I know is Woodlawn Church. I actually didn't have anywhere to go here at all. I have no relatives no where close to here. No one that knew that invited me to their home. So, this is all I had to come to," said Crawford.
