Jones County officials prepares for Isaac

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

On Tuesday, Jones County Emergency Management officials held a weather briefing.

Emergency Management Interim Director, Marda Tullos said the storm is very unpredictable and residents need to make sure they are prepared for whatever it brings.

Tullos also advises residents to remain inside and off the roads.

She said people living in mobile homes need to find a safer place to go.

Tullos said the Red Cross shelters in Jones County are likely to open sometime on Tuesday.
