A Louisiana man living in Forrest County made his first appearance in court Friday after being arrested in connection with the disappearance of his fiance.
Benjamin Davis was escorted back to jail Friday morning after Forrest County Justice Court Judge Robert Davis set his bail at $1 million.
Forrest County authorities arrested Davis on Wednesday. He is charged with the murder of Brittany Nicole Crenshaw, his fiance.
Crenshaw was reported missing on August 17 from her home, a camper in McLaurin.
