Xavier Grindle leaves Mississippi State, signs with PRCC

Head Coach Tim Hatten will have another former Bulldog lining up for him this season. Running back Xavier Grindle left the Mississippi State football team and signed with Pearl River Community College on Friday. He'll join former Bulldog quarterback Dylan Favre, and sophomore wide receiver Devin Fosselman, who signed with the Wildcats on Tuesday.

Grindle rushed for 2,103 yards and scored 18 touchdowns as a senior at East Marion High School. He helped lead the Eagles to an appearance in the 2A state championship game, where they fell 26-7 to West Bolivar.
