Laurel Chief Administrator, Dennis Keveryn said they are not raising taxes on city residents.
Keveryn said tourism and sales tax are up. He said employees can also look to get a 2 percent pay raise this year.
He said the administration will present a $44 million dollar budget to the council later this month.
