Two Die in Pearl River County Car Crash

Two men are dead and two others are in the hospital following a one-car accident in Pearl River County this morning. The Mississippi Highway Patrol says 25-year-old Efren Collins of Washington and 19-year-old Xavier Medina of New Jersey died when their 2004 Mazda left Interstate-59 two miles south of Lumberton and struck a tree. That accident occurred around 6:25 a.m.  Two other men, 20-year-old Robert Mattice and 25-year-old Alvin Figaracion, both of California, were injured and were taken to Forrest General Hospital.  Mattice is listed in critical but stable condition.  Figaracion is listed in good condition.
