FORREST COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

A George County man was killed Monday evening while delivering a load of dirt in the Long Leaf Acres sub-division in Forrest County.

The accident happened at around 6:00 p.m. at a home in the 300-block of Pine Ridge Point.

Forrest County Coroner Butch Benedict has identified the man as Dale Gore of Lucedale.

Authorities say Gore was attempting to unload the dirt when the trailer became unstable causing the truck and trailer to roll over. Gore was inside the cab of the truck when the accident occurred and died from injuries sustained in the rollover.

A company spokesperson say Gore was an employee of Warren Paving for 19-years.
