Victoria Lumpert, 56, from Hattiesburg pleaded guilty in circuit court Friday morning to felony fleeing from an accident.
Lumpert was arrested in October of 2010 after she was involved in a hit and run accident that killed Lawrence John Brun of Moss Point. Lumpert hit Brun as he was walking along side Veterans Boulevard in Hattiesburg near the Pine Belt Family Y.
After getting a tip, Hattiesburg Police arrested her on South 27th Avenue.
She was originally charged with DUI causing death and fleeing the scene of an accident.
Lumpert will be sentenced July,23. She faces a maximum 20-years in prison.
