A fatal accident on Fairley O'Neal Road in the Benndale Community claimed the life of 30-year-old Adam Riley of George County Saturday evening, according to the George County Sheriff's Office.
George County Sheriff's Public Information Officer Shonna Pierce said, alcohol was definitely a factor in the accident. J.D. Bradley, 25, of George County was driving the Pontiac Grand Am carrying Riley, Adrian Bradley, 20 and Alfred Bradley, 21 all of George County.
Two of them were ejected; one stayed in the vehicle and another was partially ejected after the car ran off the road and hit a tree.
Two were air lifted to USA Medical Center in Mobile, AL.
According to Pierce, this marks George County's sixth motor vehicle related death caused by alcohol since April 2012.
Since George County is a dry county, the government prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages in some form.
