HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Students majoring in nursing or criminal justice at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College will now find it easier to continue their education at William Carey University. The two schools signed an agreement this week which allows those students to easily transfer credits.

It means students who major in criminal justice at MGCCC can transfer up to 64 credit hours once they receive their associate's degree. Those credits will only apply at the Tradition Campus in Harrison County.

Nursing majors can transfer a maximum of 60 nursing and general course credits to William Carey.
