MOSELLE, MS (WDAM) -

A 4th of July fire that destroyed a family's home in Moselle also led to the arrest of two men who were allegedly involved in a disturbance at the scene of the fire.

A mobile home on Highway 11 was gutted by a blaze around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, leaving a family of six homeless. While firefighters were battling the blaze, officials say an altercation broke out between the homeowner, his family and friends and a neighbor and his friends.

The neighbor was arrested by sheriff's deputies for disorderly conduct and other charges. A friend of the homeowner was also taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
