Posted: Updated:
BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

When we went to bed last night, tropical storm warnings went from the Mississippi/Alabama line to the Florida panhandle.  This morning, those warnings have moved away from Mississippi.

Tropical Storm Debby is now a threat for people from the Alabama/Florida line east to Suwanee River, Florida.

These are the 7:00 am coordinates:

LOCATION...28.6N 85.8W
ABOUT 90 MI...145 KM SSW OF APALACHICOLA FLORIDA
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS...50 MPH...85 KM/H
PRESENT MOVEMENT...STATIONARY
MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE...993 MB...29.32 INCHES

Because of Debby, forecasters expects tides here in Mississippi to be one to three feet above normal.
