(RNN) – Most people accept the fact that taunting people is not OK, but ganging up on an elderly woman almost seems criminal.
It's worse when the bullies could be her grandchildren.
A group of middle school students in Greece, NY, mercilessly taunted bus monitor Karen Klein, even when she told them that the abuse drove her to tears.
A 10-minute YouTube video that went viral almost immediately showed the children, 12 and 13 years old, using profanities and joking about Klein's age, weight and clothes and threatening to sexually and physically assault her.
"I'm not a real vindictive person," Klein said. "I just know I want something to happen to make them realize what they did."
Support for Klein poured in from all over the country, and a website set up to help her had raised more than $500,000 as of Friday afternoon.
Max Sidorov, who said he was also a victim of bullying, set up the site with the original goal of raising a few thousand dollars.
"I had no idea I was going to raise nearly this amount," Sidorov said. "I thought maybe $5,000, but this may be enough for her to retire."
It's been an interesting week for drivers in Louisville, KY.
A hacker took over a sign on Brownsboro Road on Tuesday and suggested an interesting way to deal with their sexual frustration.
It's not like the "Honk If You're Horny" slogan is anything new, it's just that no one has been innovative enough to post it on a traffic sign.
The road sign was intended to warn motorists of road hazards because of ongoing construction, WAVE reported.
Another prank message showed up early the next morning warning people to look out for zombies, and then again Friday with the word "RAWR."
The city did not know who was responsible for hijacking the sign or if it was a different person each time.
SOMEONE GET HER A MAN … ON SECOND THOUGHT
"Overly Attached Girlfriend" introduced herself to the world more than a week ago, and scared the living daylights out of almost every male that laid eyes on her.
Well, she's at it again.
OAG covered the much lip-dubbed hit Call Me Maybe - adding her own creepy lyrics, of course - and it got 4 million views in less than three days.
Any man crazy enough to jump on that boat deserves everything he gets.
JOE'S TAKE ON THE HOLOCAUST
Joe Wurzelbacher, better known as "Joe the Plumber," is running for Congress and making gun laws a major issue of his platform.
To emphasize his point, he took things a step further by hinting that gun control led to the extermination of 13 million people during the Holocaust (his words, not ours).
Joe ends the video by affirming that he loves America, but judging by the comments, the American people are not so warm on him.
