Lawnmower accident kills Seminary man

COVINGTON COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

A Seminary man was found dead following an accident Thursday in Covington County.

Covington Country Coroner Chris DaQuila said 44-year-old David Warren Davis was found at around 9 p.m. Thursday by Colonial Pipe Line employees.

DaQuila said family members began to worry when they couldn't get in contact with Davis and called Colonial Pipe Line where Davis maintained the lawn as a third-party contractor.

Daquila said Davis was mowing a steep hill when the lawn mower he was riding turned over. It's not clear how long Davis had been out before he was found dead.

The body was sent to Jackson for an autopsy.
