GEORGE COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Ravielle Bolton, 27, of Leakesville has been charged with three counts of DUI after he allegedly caused a fatal accident that claimed the lives of three people Saturday, according to Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesperson Johnny Poulos.

Poulos said, Bolton was driving a Honda Accord and traveling south on 63 about a mile and a half north of the Highway 98 intersection when he reportedly rear ended an SUV carrying four people.

The driver of the SUV, Simon Patterson of State Line, MS lost control and flipped over. Patterson and two passengers were ejected.

Patterson, and passenger Jermaine Rogers were both taken to George County Regional Hospital where they died from their injuries. Another passenger, Andre Rogers, was declared dead at the scene.

The fourth person in the vehicle, 16-year-old Deandre Rogers, was taken to the hospital, where he was treated and released. Authorities said he was the only one in the SUV wearing a seatbelt.
