A double homicide was called in to the Lamar County Sheriff's office on June 5th.
The call was in reference to a possible shooting in Marion County. Lamar County notified Marion County, and officials responded to the call.
Upon arrival, officials discovered the bodies of Gerald and Rebecca Hutson. The cause of death appeared to be gunshot wounds, but an autopsy is still pending.
A warrant has been issued for suspect Shawn Louge on two counts of capital murder.
Louge is a 24 year old white male who is approximately 5 foot 11 inches and 290 lbs. He may have blonde hair and blue eyes. He could possibly be driving a 1997 beige Buick LeSabre with a tag number of MNU974.
The investigation is still ongoing, and is being led by the Marion County Sheriff's office with help from the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, Mississippi Bureau of Investigation Crime Scene Unit, and the Lamar County Sheriff's Office.
