Jones County enlists support for cancer research

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

The American Cancer Society is enlisting support from Jones County residents as the organization continues to search for a cure.

The society and Dixie Electric kicked off the community-wide enrollment session looking for volunteers for its cancer prevention study Wednesday.

They are looking for men and women who have never been diagnosed with cancer and willing to be used in a study for the next 2o to 30 years.  Volunteers must be between the ages of 30 and 65.

    The new Miss Hospitality has been crowned in Hattiesburg.  She is Emma Grace McGrew, 18, of Booneville.
