United Way holds "Thank You" Banquet

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

It was about giving back to those who give best at Wednesday's "Thank You" banquet.  The United Way of Southeast Mississippi held it's annual "Thank you" banquet at Southern Oaks House and Gardens.  The banquet is held each year to thank the volunteers and organizations which partner with United Way.

United Way of Southeast Mississippi Executive Director, Dan Kibodeaux says there's a lot to be thankful for.

"We're blessed in this community to raise a good bit of money, and we're doubly blessed to have so many volunteers," said Kibodeaux.

Forrest General Hospital employees took top honors for having the year's largest campaign total of $145,209 dollars.
