Find out who won the United Way house...

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Dayle Graham of Sumrall was the lucky winner of a brand new home in the Vintage Springs subdivision in Hattiesburg.

Graham's name was randomly selected Monday evening at the United Way's, Home Sweet Home raffle. The Home Sweet Home raffle is put on every year by United Way as its major fundraiser. Raffle tickets are sold for 100 dollars a piece, and give ticket buyers a shot at winning a home valued for more than $200,000.

Dayle and his wife Nancy are both retired. They have been married for 46-years, have two children, and five grandchildren. They have lived in their Surmrall home since 1975.

"We've bought a ticket every year to try and support the United Way, said Graham. "I always said we were going to win and we did and praise God we did."

A total of 2613 tickets were sold in the raffle, raising $125,000 for the charity.

The main sponsors of the raffle are greater Hattiesburg Homebuilders Association and Leaf River Cellulose of New Augusta.
