Scary moment at Mississippi Braves game, collision in center field
It's not the sight fans wanted to see at Trustmark Park on Easter Sunday. In the top half of the first inning, Mobile rightfielder Marc Krauss lined a hit to centerfield. Centerfielder Mycal Jones and rightfielder Keenan Wiley collided attempting to make the catch, after which Jones tried to stand up on his own power, fell down again, and the medical staff present were forced to cart him off on a stretcher.
Wiley also left the game, but more for precautionary reasons. To this point, the Braves have not released any status update on Jones. Mississippi lost to the BayBears 7-2.
